A well-trained workforce is essential to Colorado’s economic prosperity. Cheri supports affordable access to Higher Ed and Vocational Training for displaced workers and for those who are making career changes.

We are just beginning to realize the power that developing renewable energy has to help the environment and revitalize the economy. Colorado has the potential be a world leader in developing sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels. This will require creating thousands of good paying Green Collar jobs, and Cheri has the experience and drive necessary to see it through.

By investing now in developing homegrown energy sources like wind, solar, natural gas, and geothermal energy, we can build a base of long-tern sustainable employment that boosts the economy, ensures our energy security, and reduces climate change. In the State Senate, Cheri will promote green collar job creation through strategies that include jobs for dislocated, unemployed, or underemployed workers.
